DOES YOUR DOG HAVE AGGRESSION ISSUES THAT FRUSTRATE AND CONCERN YOU?

Aggression problems are often caused by a lack of understanding and communication. Without trust, discipline and respect many dogs will resort to instinctual forms of aggression such as resource guarding, protective aggression, and more.

When dealing with aggression, it must be addressed in layers and typically takes longer than our other programs.

If your aggressive dog is going to stay for a board and train program, earning trust is the most important component in the beginning. This helps us lay a solid foundation for successful training. We do advanced obedience and work on making the dog more neutral and stable. This will take more time and they must stay for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Once a dog has a history of aggression or biting we recommend that the owner become educated along with the dog on the aggression and where it is coming from so they can have the tools to reinforce training and set the dog up for success. Because dogs will be dogs, there are always precautions that need to be taken with aggressive dogs regardless of the amount of training and control you have.
