About Our Program
Our Board & Train Program provides focused, individualized training in a structured environment. Whether your goals include obedience, better everyday manners, or behavior modification, your dog receives one-on-one training designed around their individual needs and your goals at home.
Time spent living and working with your dog allows us to observe patterns that may not be apparent during a traditional lesson. We can build new skills, strengthen communication, and work toward greater confidence, stability, and reliability in everyday life.
Every program begins with an evaluation so we can get to know your dog, understand your concerns, and develop an individualized training plan. Just as importantly, we prepare you to continue the work at home, because lasting progress depends on creating consistency between the training environment and everyday life.

Before Your Dog’s Stay

Whenever possible, we like to meet your dog in their home environment before training begins. Seeing your dog where they are most comfortable gives us valuable insight into their behavior and helps us develop an individualized approach to training.

While Your Dog Is With Us
Communication is an important part of our program. You'll receive regular progress updates, photos, and videos throughout your dog's stay, so you can see how they're doing and how their training is progressing.
Board & Train programs typically range from 3–6 weeks, depending on your dog's needs, behavior, and training goals.

Going Home Is Part of the Training
At the end of the program, we'll spend 1–2 hours working with you and your dog so you understand the skills, communication, and expectations we've established.
You'll also receive two complimentary follow-up sessions within six months of training. If an in-home follow-up requires travel, a travel fee may apply.

The Windy Ridge K9 Experience
Multi-Session Daily Training
Dogs participate in multiple high-engagement training blocks per day, alternating between heavy focus and relaxed decompression.
